We need to get back to the Conservative Principles of Ronald Reagan. I am not happy that the Republicans have lost but I also know that it is time that we get back to basics now that we are not in power. We need to get tough and not allow the Dems to push us around as they did while we were in the Majority.

My advice is take a few things from the Democratic Playbook that they used while in the miniority. Then make sure you get back to the Conservative Principles that attracted me to the Party to begin with.

You could also learn from Our two Republican Senators in Alabama, they keep getting elected.

Some suggestions to Republicans:

We need to  get tough on Immigration and that means no Amnesty.

Fire, Carl Rove.

Limit Government

Protect the Unborn

Make Clear that it is Adult Stem Cells that are bringing forth Cures not embroynic. Sink money into something that is producing results.

Don't put Power over Principles

Get Back to the Basics Conservative Principles that seperate you from the Dems.

Block Liberal Judges

Fight, Fight, Fight(No Compromise)

We Lost, what are you gonna do now, it is not time to roll-over and play dead.

"Will the GOP return to its social conservative strength on issues?"

The GOP has to stop being whimps on the social stuff... and since Campaign 2008 is now underway they had better make that adjustment rather quickly...
